College of Music Instructional Technology Support

Issues that hinder an instructor's ability to teach are given the highest priority at the College of Music. If you are experiencing issues with the equipment in one of our DSI supported classrooms or Music Supported Classrooms during a scheduled class period, please request support through the appropriate channels:

    *  DSI Rooms: Submit a Ticket here or by using the link on the DSI instructor lectern computer. You may also call using the posted number on the lectern and a technician will be dispatched to your location as soon as possible.

    * For non DSI supported rooms please contact Music IT Service Desk, or visit our AV Guides for quick Choir Room and Recital Hall support.

    * Please Note that some division specific equipment outside of the standard Computer/AV configuration is funded and supported by divisions and not by Music IT nor DSI. Examples of this type of equipment would include Tuners, Piano Visualizers, Digital Pianos, etc.  If you are unsure of the support structure for a particular device or location please contact the  Music IT Service Desk and they will assist in finding a resolution.

    *  Please read our About Instructional Services section below to find lists of rooms, support structures and additional information and guides.

About our Instructional Support Services

Many of the technology classrooms in our college are Specialized Class Laboratory (Type 210/220) supported solely by the College of Music. All support requests or questions regarding the equipment available in these rooms should be directed to College of Music: Information Technology Services. However an equal number of classrooms are centrally managed and supported by DSI and are equipped with the campus standard Computer and Projection equipment.

For a list of all DSI supported rooms within the College of Music visit DSI Classrooms. Please Note that some division specific equipment outside of the DSI standard Computer/AV configuration found in these rooms are funded and supported by the division and not officially by Music IT nor DSI. Examples of this type of equipment would include Tuners, Piano Visualizers, Digital Pianos, etc.  If you are unsure of the support structure for a particular device or location please contact the  Music IT Service Desk and they will assist in finding a resolution.
